Family Planning
Purpose
The Family Planning program provides confidential preventative and reproductive health care services for women and men.
Services
- Assistance with referrals for abnormal results
- Contraceptive counseling and prescription for methods
- Contraceptive supplies
- Free condoms (donations appreciated)
- HIV information and referral for testing
- Immunization Assessment and Referral (i.e., Hep B, Hep A and HPV4)
- Lab tests
- Pap tests
- Physical Exam
- Pregnancy testing and referrals
- Sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment
Eligibility Requirements:
- Women and Men who wish to delay, space and choose the timing of their children.
Fees:
- Charges for services are based on a clients ability to pay according to a sliding fee scale.
- Accept most private health insurances, Medicaid and Health Wave.
Birth Control Options Available:
- Birth control pills
- Injection (Depo-provera equivalent)
- Condoms
- Diaphragms
- Sterlization referral
- Referral for other methods.
